From the President's Desk: Celebrate the Skyline Awards This September

Dear PRSA Chicago Members,

Our biggest event of the year, the 2026 Skyline Awards Celebration Gala is finally here. We hope you’ll join us to honor Chicago’s award-winning communicators and campaigns on September 17. This is an event you do not want to miss!

Our All-Member Meeting will be held in-person at The Motion Agency on September 30, with a fireside chat hosted by our own Bridgette Russell, APR. The conversation will follow our regular annual All-Member Meeting update. Our special guest is Michael Fassnacht, who will provide a strategic point of view for Chicago communicators adapting for success in 2027 across business, culture and government in the City of Chicago.

As we enter into the Q4 of 2026, our Executive Committee and Board of Directors are currently interviewing our new board candidates for 2027. All members will have a chance to vote on the new board slate. Your participation, your network connections, our board members, and all our volunteers have made it a privilege to serve as your president this year. I’m energized about the growth of our chapter as we head into 2027 with new board members and our once-in-a-decade chance to host the entire PRSA community in Chicago next October for ICON.
