From the President's Desk: Never Done. Never Outdone.

Dear PRSA Chicago Members,

October is here, and as we welcome crisp, fall weather in our beautiful city, PRSA Chicago is also welcoming our new incoming board members for 2027!

Congratulations to those of you who are joining our all-volunteer board for the first time, and thank you to everyone who currently serves. Your leadership and enthusiasm for our communications community is what makes PRSA Chicago the most vibrant chapter in the country.

Your dedicated chapter delegates will be attending ICON 2026 in Orlando this month, representing our members as we look ahead to ICON 2027 in Chicago next year. As we begin promoting our beautiful city and planning to host nearly 3,000 communicators next fall, I thought you would all enjoy rallying around this excellent hype video from Choose Chicago.

If that video doesn’t evoke pride for our city and our chapter, you might be a Packer’s fan.

At the end of this month, we have an AI panel hosted by Loyola on October 29. Please visit our website to register for that and our remaining events in 2026, including our holiday party.

If you have a colleague or friend in any area of our industry who you think would benefit from PRSA membership, invite them to one of our events or connect them with our membership committee. We’re going to need all hands on deck next year to support our city as we launch our ICON 2027 efforts.
