The Michelle Flowers Diversity Fellowship complemented my education at Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism with relevant professional experience in journalism and public relations.
How has the Michelle Flowers Diversity Fellowship impacted your career development or future work aspirations?
This fellowship gave me the opportunity to enhance my career with significant journalistic and business experience at a top-tier public relations agency like Flowers Communication Group. I’ve had the privilege of working on projects servicing world-class clients across diverse industries, and I’m grateful to Michelle Flowers for selecting me.

What's next for you in your college career?
I will graduate from Northwestern University in June 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. In the past, I have interned at companies such as Simon & Schuster and Creative Artists Agency. Post-graduation, I plan on pursuing a career in journalism, entertainment, or publishing.
