PRSA Chicago New Member Welcome – Laura Miller

Laura Miller began her career by studying international relations in college, and she went on to work in government. From there, she brought her political communications background to the agency space, becoming Greentarget's first employee. Learn more about this new PRSA Chicago member.

Discovering her true passion is people, Laura worked to formalize and lead Greentarget's talent program, including all things DEIB - diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging - becoming the firm's first non-founding partner in 2022. Greentarget focuses on professional services – law firms, management consulting organizations, and financial institutions.

When asked why Laura chose to join PRSA Chicago, she said, "As a talent leader, I appreciate staying on top of the needs and interests of the people in our community. And with Greentarget's headquarters based in Chicago, keeping my ear to the ground locally is a huge help for our organization planning and considering where I can contribute to the larger PR space."

Laura appreciates PRSA Chicago's learning opportunities, which are an effective way to stay knowledgeable about the industry and support fellow members. Laura is currently a member of the Economic Club of Chicago, the Emma Bowen Foundation HR Committee, The PR Council HR and DEI Committees (We authored the Belonging Together guidance in late 2023, which I would love to spread through PRSA agencies, too.), Imperative Purpose Coach, and locally, the Honeycomb Project that brings volunteering to families at a very early age.
