Welcome New Member: Ann Davidson

Since graduating from Loyola University, Ann has worked in a variety of marketing and communications roles. When Ann started in her current position at Smithbucklin focusing purely on communications, she found that she really enjoyed it. This led her to enroll in Northwestern University's Master of Science in Communication program last year. She says this program has helped her modernize her skills as well as explore areas in which she had less experience.

Ann found herself particularly attracted to PR after speaking with alumni in the field. She is excited to pivot her career into the field after she graduates. By joining PRSA Chicago, Ann is hoping to network, volunteer and attend PRSA-Chicago events. She says she thrives on in-person connections and would really like to hear about various roles and areas of specialty from others in the field to figure out where she might be a good fit.

In her personal time, Ann is on the board of Canine Therapy Corps, a local Chicago non-profit providing therapy dog services. Her dog, Rocko, is a certified therapy dog and they love to volunteer at places like Swedish Hospital and Lawrence Hall. She is also an IABC member.
