From the President's Desk: Congratulations (and gratitude) are in order!

I can find something great to say about every season, but the fall leading up to the holidays is truly one of the best times of the year. It’s hard to believe that 2025 is coming to a close, as we frantically try to wrap up Q4 before everyone runs away from the office to spend time at home, on vacation, or just…away from work.

In the PRSA Chicago world, it’s time to celebrate! 

We recently passed our slate to elect the 2026 Board of Directors. Congratulations to our four new board members, Paulette Cohen (Top Step), Kimberly FitzSimmons (American Association of Endodontists), Brian Lantz (Ferguson Enterprises), and Cianna Reeves (PR & Comms Pro). I look forward to welcoming you to the board in 2026. Thank you to President-Elect Andrew Krause for leading this year’s nominating subcommittee, affectionately known as “NomComm,” and to all of the members for helping us usher in our new phase of leadership.

It is also my favorite time of year as we slip from fall into the holiday season. I hope that everyone is preparing to spend time with friends and family. PRSA Chicago offers a time to come together at our annual holiday party, which is set for Thursday, Dec. 11. Don’t forget to RSVP here. We always have a great time, and I am looking forward to seeing everyone.

It is also a time to reflect and appreciate all that we have, and I can truly say I’m grateful for the communications professionals who power PRSA Chicago.
