From the President's Desk: The First Quarter of 2026 is in the Books!

Well, that was fast! The first quarter of 2026 is in the books.

You may be a seasoned communicator planning, scheduling, reacting and communicating by the quarter or a rising professional mastering how messaging flows. Either way, you have three quarters of 2026 left to get it done.

PRSA Chicago is on the move into spring as well with our window open for Skyline awards entries, mentor/mentee applications and new events and programming planned for the rest of April and May. You can keep up with our programming and membership events at prsachicago.com.

Your membership in our chapter, your contributions and the collective work of our all-volunteer board members means regardless of what you need to accomplish for the rest of 2026, you’ll have a community of Chicago communications professionals who are right there with you. 

So as your client or boss asks you what the future holds and expects you to plan ahead, I personally take comfort in knowing that PRSA Chicago, as a resource for your professional journey, will pay dividends in your professional development, networking and career growth.

None of us really knows what will be thrown at us as communicators in the next quarter and beyond, so our PRSA Chicago Board of Directors will continue to be passionate about sharing networking and professional development opportunities throughout 2026.
