This event is designed specifically for rising professionals and those looking to or recently making a career change in public relations. The speakers will offer best practices and refreshers for navigating the evolving work landscape in a post-pandemic world.
Through an interactive roundtable format, participants will be guided through various perspectives and topics, providing tangible tips on cementing oneself in a PR role and strategies for professional elevation. The event will take place Thursday, November 21 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. CT at 161 N. Clark Street, Suite 1270. Light bites and refreshments will be available.

Jacqualyn Laughlin
Co-Founder | Invisible Ink Partners
A Texas native from the heart of cattle country, Jac Laughlin is now based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and has traded her cowboy boots for Moon boots. Her career includes experience at major agencies from Leo Burnett to Laughlin Constable to Dentsu.
When she’s not busy matching the best talent with the coolest companies and agencies, she’s hanging with her awesome daughters and husband… and the dog she didn’t really want but loves anyway. Most of the time.
Ken Li
Certified Life Coach
Ken Li is a certified career and confidence coach from the Life Coach School. A past perfectionist and people pleaser, he has successfully empowered over 100 professionals to speak up, increase their earnings, and pursue more fulfilling careers. Prior to his coaching career, Li serrved as a Senior Director of Public Relations at CG Life, a life science marketing agency, and rose from intern to become head of the Technology/B2B team at DomeHK.
Li began his professional journey as a graduate student in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Purdue University. He appreciates anyone who can sing on key.
Mark Revermann

With over a 24-year marketing career, Mark Revermann has worked side-by-side with industry leading brands in developing marketing strategies that impact consumer perception and trigger behavior change. His category experience includes insurance, healthcare, pharmaceutical, associations, non-profit organizations, travel & hospitality, apparel, consumer packaged goods, education, financial services, food, retail, sports & recreation, telecommunications and manufacturing. Revermann has a master’s degree in integrated marketing communications from Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism.
A first-generation American, Revermann was raised in both a multicultural and bilingual household. As the son of a Mexican mother and German father, his strong family connections continue to take him abroad four to five times a year.
He resides in Chicago where he is extremely active in the local multicultural community. When he is not at the agency working on transition plans for new clients, Revermann is active in the tennis world serving in governance roles focused on diversifying participation in the sport.
