Roula Amire is a storyteller at heart. As a journalist, she brings a deep curiosity about the world and passion for uncovering stories that resonate. Throughout her career, Roula has hired, created and managed editorial teams, and developed successful content strategies—all fueled by her entrepreneurial spirit.


She understands how to create content that will connect with target audiences and has created digital content initiatives that have fueled multi-million-dollar membership subscriptions, sponsored content divisions, and other revenue-producing departments.

Amire has been a guest speaker on topics related to journalism, brand journalism, writing/editing, PR, communications, and company culture at DePaul, NYU, and Columbia College, and hosts the Better podcast from Great Place To Work.

Monica Eng
Reporter | Axios Chicago
Monica Eng is an award-winning, veteran Chicago reporter. She has worked in
Chicago journalism for more than three decades starting at the Chicago Sun-Times
and moving to the Chicago Tribune and WBEZ. She has served as an Axios Chicago
reporter since the summer of 2021.


Corli Jay
Community Investment Reporter | The TRiiBE

Corli Jay is the community investment reporter with The TRiiBE, a Black-owned digital news outlet based on the city's West Side. Jay joined The TRiiBE last year; before joining her current newsroom, Jay was a general assignment reporter at Crain's Chicago Business from 2022 until 2024. Along with general reporting duties, Jay also manned the media beat during her time at Crain's. Jay also worked as a part-time reporter for the city's oldest neighborhood publication, the Hyde Park Herald.

Jay is a graduate of Chicago State University, where she received a B.A. in Media Arts. She received journalism training as a fellow with the Chicago civic reporting lab, City Bureau and as a youth reporter with the West Side-based nonprofit Free Spirit Media.

Joanne Denyeau leads the North America Media Strategy Group at Hotwire Global,
where she brings nearly two decades of broadcast journalism experience, most
notably from CNBC and MSNBC into the world of strategic communications. At
Hotwire, Denyeau works closely with top B2B and B2C brands, helping C-suite
leaders shape smart communications strategies and build strong, lasting relationships
with the media. Her deep understanding of newsroom dynamics helps clients become trusted sources in today’s evolving media landscape.
