Edward M. Bury is a senior communications professional/strategic thinker with proven experience in marketing, public relations and related disciplines. During his career, he has demonstrated strategic planning, project management and team-building skills with associations, agencies, and corporations. He currently manages internal and external communications for the Urban Transportation Center, a research unit at the University of Illinois Chicago.  He blogs regularly at www.prdude.wordpress.com.

Vivian Fiore, APR

An accomplished public relations leader with more than 25 years of experience, Vivian Fiore has built a career designing, leading, and executing comprehensive public awareness campaigns for mission driven nonprofits and government agencies. Her work blends strategic vision with compelling storytelling, helping organizations elevate their profiles, influence public perception, and drive meaningful engagement across diverse audiences.

In her current role at Rotary International, Fiore oversees a global team of media relations professionals, guiding them in identifying and amplifying stories that showcase Rotary members’ humanitarian impact around the world. Under her leadership, the team partners closely with local members to surface powerful narratives and secure top tier media coverage that brings visibility to Rotary’s efforts in peacebuilding, disease prevention, community development, and more.

Zion Banks is an award-winning storyteller and communications professional with over 30 years of experience in journalism and public relations. Known as the “Chief Storyteller” at Governors State University, she uses the power of narrative to drive social change and inspire communities. Zion’s work has earned national recognition, including PRSA’s Skyline Award, and she continues to speak boldly on issues of justice, identity, and impact.

In 2024, Zion earned her APR – accreditation in Public Relations and is now applying for re-accreditation.
