WORKSHOP DETAILS
Join PRSA Chicago's Young Professionals Network for our next monthly workshop: How to Improve Your Work-Life Balance, on Wednesday, Aug. 28 from 6-7:30 p.m. at Greentarget, 141 W. Jackson Blvd., Suite 3100 when you will hear from three industry professionals about the rewards and challenges of maintaining a healthy work-life balance. While we cannot stop ever-changing news cycles, young professionals can learn how to manage time, enjoy time off, build in downtime, exercise and relaxation, and turn off your phone (or at least silence it).
SPEAKERS
Catherine Merritt
CEO and Founder, Spool Marketing
@SpoolMarketing
@CathMerritt
Catherine is a tenaciously curious problem solver with global agency pedigree and startup hustle. She is an innovative, results-driven communications and marketing leader who has worked for startups to Fortune 100 companies and many in between. At the end of the day, Catherine works with clients in a true partnership capacity to create smart solutions to their complex business problems. Catherine is a motivating leader to her teams, a strategic counsel to her clients and a networker extortioner.
Having run global agency practices as well as launching, running and selling startups, Catherine brings a unique blend of experiences, skills and perspectives to each client she partners with. She has helped her clients launch entire industries, grow brands, tell stories and at the end of the day, everything she does is driven to help her clients grow and drive business.
She launched Spool not because the world needs another agency, but perhaps because it needs a new type of agency.
Catherine and her husband live in Evanston, IL where they're raising their two sons, Teddy and Archie.
